Velebte Jáha! Velebte jméno Hospodinovo, velebte, nevolníci Hospodinovi,

kteří stáváte v domě Hospodinově, v nádvořích domu Božího,
3
velebte Jáha, neboť Hospodin je dobrý, při hudbě zpívejte jeho jménu, neboť je libé!
4
Neboť Jákób - Jáh v něm našel zálibu, Isráéle má za svůj zvláštní poklad.
5
Já zajisté vím, že Hospodin je veliký, a no, náš Pán nade všechny bohy;
6
vše, co oblibuje, Hospodin činí v nebesích i na zemi, v mořích a všech hlubinách,
7
působí vystupování výparů od okraje země, k dešti dělá blesky, ze svých komor vyvádí vítr;
8
jenž pobil prvorozené Egypta od lidí po dobytek,
9
poslal v tvůj střed, Egypte, znamení a zázraky proti faraonovi a proti všem jeho služebníkům;
10
jenž pobil mnohé národy a pozabíjel mocné krále,
11
jako Síchóna, krále Emórího, a jako Óga, krále Bášánu, a jako všechna království Kenáanu,
12
a jejich zem dal za dědictví, dědictví Isráélovi, svému lidu.
13
Hospodine, tvé jméno trvá navždy, Hospodine, připomínka tebe do pokolení a pokolení,
14
ano, Hospodin bude zjednávat právo svému lidu a slitovávat se nad svými nevolníky.
15
Modly národů jsou stříbro a zlato, dílo rukou člověka,
16
ústa mají a nemluví, oči mají a nevidí,
17
uši mají a nemohou uši nastavit, ba ani není toho, že by byl dech v jejich ústech.
18
Jim podobni budou jejich zhotovitelé, každý, kdo v ně důvěřuje.

Dome Lévího, velebte Hospodina! Ctitelé Hospodina, velebte Hospodina!

Budiž z Cijjóna veleben Hospodin, usadivší se v Jerúsalémě! Velebte Jáha!
