Roztoužila se, b a věru prahne má duše po nádvořích Hospodinových, mé srdce i mé maso s plesáním volají k živému BOHU.

I vrabec našel domov a vlaštovka má hnízdo, kam ukládá svá mláďata - tvé oltáře, Hospodine zástupů, můj Králi a můj Bože!

Blaho obyvatel tvého domu! Stále tě mohou velebit! Seláh.

Blaho člověka, jeho ž síla je v tobě! V jejich srdci jsou silnice;

procházejíce údolím Báchá, činí je prameništěm, také je požehnáními skrápí raný déšť.

Jdou od zdatnosti k zdatnosti; ukazuje se před Bohem na Cijjónu.

Hospodine, Bože zástupů, slyš mou modlitbu, nastav sluch, Bože Jákóbův! Seláh.

Náš štíte, viz, Bože, a pohleď na tvář svého pomazaného!

Vždyť den v tvých nádvořích je lepší než tisíc; vyvolil jsem pobyt u prahu v domě svého Boha nad bydlení v stanech zlovůle.

Vždyť Hospodin, Bůh, je sluncem a štítem; Hospodin dává milost a slávu; chodícím v bezúhonnosti neodpírá dobro.

Hospodine zástupů! Blaho člověka důvěřujícího v tebe!
