Věci nepravostí se nade mne vzmohly; naše přestoupení - ty je přikrýváš.

Blaho toho, jehož vyvoluješ a blíže přivádíš! Bude obývat tvá nádvoří, budeme se sytit dobrem tvého domu, svatostí tvého chrámu.

Hroznými věcmi nám v spravedlnosti odpovídáš, Bože naší záchrany; jsi předmětem důvěry všech končin země a moře dálek.

On, upevnivší svou silou hory, je opásán mocí,

utišuje hukot moří, hukot jejich vlnobití, i povyk zástupů lidu,

takže obyvatelé končin mají úctu před tvými znameními; východiskům jitra i večera dáváš plesat.

Navštěvuješ zem a dáváš jí přetékat, hojně ji obohacuješ, Boží potok je pln vod; připravuješ jejich obilí, když ji tak připravuješ -

jen dále zavlažuj její brázdy, urovnávej její hroudy! - Lijavci ji změkčuješ, jejímu porostu žehnáš.

Korunoval jsi rok své dobroty a tvé koleje oplývají tučností,
12
oplývají pastviště pustiny a pahrbky se opasují jásotem,
13
luka se oblékají stády a nížiny se zahalují obilím. Výskají, ano, zpívají.
