No ens donis a nosaltres la glòria, no ens la donis a nosaltres, Senyor; dóna la glòria al teu nom, perquè ets fidel en l’amor.
2
Per què han de dir els altres pobles: «On és el seu Déu?»
3
El nostre Déu és al cel i fa tot el que ell es proposa.
4
Els ídols d’ells són plata i or, obra feta per mans d’home:
5
tenen boca, però no parlen, tenen ulls, però no hi veuen,
6
orelles que no hi senten i nas que no olora.
7
Les seves mans no palpen, els seus peus no caminen ni té veu la seva gorja.
8
Seran com ells els qui els fabriquen i tots els qui hi tenen confiança.
9
Casa d’Israel, confieu en el Senyor: és auxili i escut que protegeix.
10
Casa d’Aaron, confieu en el Senyor: és auxili i escut que protegeix.
11
Els qui venereu el Senyor, confieu-hi: és auxili i escut que protegeix.
12
El Senyor es recorda de nosaltres i ens beneirà: beneirà la casa d’Israel, beneirà la casa d’Aaron,
13
beneirà els qui veneren el Senyor, els beneirà tots, petits i grans.
14
Que us faci créixer el Senyor, a vosaltres i als vostres fills.
15
Sigueu beneïts del Senyor, que ha fet el cel i la terra.
16
El Senyor s’ha reservat el cel i ha donat als homes la terra.
17
No són els morts els qui lloen el Senyor, ni els qui baixen al silenci del sepulcre.
18
Els qui beneïm el Senyor som nosaltres, els vivents, des d’ara i per tots els segles. Al·leluia!
