Cân yr orymdaith. [1] O ARGLWYDD, paid anghofio Dafydd. Roedd e wedi cael amser mor galed.
2
Roedd e wedi addo i'r ARGLWYDD a mynd ar ei lw i Un Cryf Jacob:
3
“Dw i ddim am fynd i'r tŷ, na dringo i'm gwely;
4
dw i ddim am adael i'm llygaid orffwys, na chau fy amrannau,
5
nes dod o hyd i le i'r ARGLWYDD, ie, rhywle i Un Cryf Jacob fyw.”
6
Clywson fod yr Arch yn Effrata; a dod o hyd iddi yng nghefn gwlad Jaar.
7
Gadewch i ni fynd i mewn i'w dabernacl, ac ymgrymu wrth ei stôl droed!
8
O ARGLWYDD, dos i fyny i dy deml gyda dy Arch bwerus!
9
Boed i dy offeiriaid wisgo cyfiawnder, boed i'r rhai sy'n ffyddlon i ti weiddi'n llawen!
10
Paid troi cefn ar yr un rwyt wedi ei eneinio o achos Dafydd dy was.
11
Roedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi addo i Dafydd — aeth ar ei lw, a dydy e ddim yn torri ei air — “Dw i'n mynd i osod un o dy ddisgynyddion di ar dy orsedd.
12
Os bydd dy feibion yn cadw'r ymrwymiad wnaethon ni a'r amodau dw i wedi eu gosod iddyn nhw, bydd dy linach frenhinol yn para am byth.”
13
Mae'r ARGLWYDD wedi dewis Seion; mae e wedi penderfynu aros yno.
14
“Dyma ble bydda i yn gorffwys am byth,” meddai, “dw i'n mynd i deyrnasu yma. Ie, dyna dw i eisiau.
15
Dw i'n mynd i'w gwneud hi'n ddinas lwyddiannus, a rhoi digonedd o fwyd i'r rhai anghenus ynddi.
16
Dw i'n mynd i roi achubiaeth yn wisg i'w hoffeiriaid, a bydd ei rhai ffyddlon yn gweiddi'n llawen!
17
Dw i'n mynd i godi olynydd cryf i Dafydd; bydd fel lamp wedi ei rhoi i oleuo'r bobl.
18
Bydda i'n gwisgo ei elynion mewn cywilydd, ond bydd coron yn disgleirio ar ei ben e.”
