Bydd y sawl mae'r Duw Goruchaf yn ei amddiffyn yn aros yn saff dan gysgod yr Hollalluog.
2
Dywedais, “ARGLWYDD, rwyt ti'n gaer ddiogel, yn lle hollol saff i mi fynd. Ti ydy fy Nuw i, yr un dw i'n ei drystio.”
3
Bydd Duw yn dy achub di o drap yr heliwr, a rhag y pla marwol.
4
Bydd e'n rhoi ei adain drosot ti, a byddi'n saff o dan blu ei adenydd. Mae'r ffaith fod Duw yn dweud y gwir yn darian sy'n dy amddiffyn di.
5
Paid bod ag ofn dim sy'n dy ddychryn yn y nos, na'r saeth sy'n hedfan yn y dydd;
6
yr haint sy'n llechu yn y tywyllwch, na'r dinistr sy'n taro'n sydyn ganol dydd.
7
Gall mil o ddynion syrthio ar dy law chwith, a deg mil ar y dde, ond fyddi di ddim yn cael dy gyffwrdd.
8
Byddi'n cael gweld drosot ti dy hun — byddi'n gweld y rhai drwg yn cael eu cosbi.
9
Wyt, rwyt ti'n lle saff i mi guddio. ARGLWYDD! Gad i'r Duw Goruchaf fod yn hafan ddiogel i ti,
10
a fyddi di ddim yn cael unrhyw niwed. Fydd dim haint yn dod yn agos i dy gartre di.
11
Achos bydd e'n gorchymyn i'w angylion dy amddiffyn di ble bynnag rwyt ti'n mynd.
12
Byddan nhw'n dy ddal yn eu breichiau fel na fyddi'n taro dy droed ar garreg.
13
Byddi di'n sathru'r llew a'r cobra dan draed; fydd llewod ifanc a nadroedd ddim yn beryg i ti.
14
“Dw i'n mynd i gadw'r un sy'n ffyddlon i mi yn saff,” meddai'r ARGLWYDD; “bydda i'n amddiffyn yr un sy'n fy nabod i.
15
Pan fydd e'n galw arna i, bydda i'n ateb. Bydda i gydag e drwy bob argyfwng. Bydda i'n ei achub e ac yn ei anrhydeddu.
16
Bydd e'n cael byw i oedran teg, a mwynhau bywyd, am fy mod wedi ei achub.”
