Mascîl gan Asaff. [1] O Dduw, pam wyt ti'n ddig gyda ni drwy'r amser? Pam mae dy ffroenau'n mygu yn erbyn defaid dy borfa?

Cofia'r criw o bobl gymeraist ti i ti dy hun mor bell yn ôl; y bobl ollyngaist yn rhydd i fod yn llwyth sbesial i ti! Dyma Fynydd Seion ble rwyt ti'n byw!
3
Brysia! Edrych ar yr adfeilion diddiwedd yma, a'r holl niwed mae'r gelyn wedi ei wneud i dy deml!
4
Mae'r gelyn wedi rhuo wrth ddathlu eu concwest yn dy gysegr; a gosod eu harwyddion a'u symbolau eu hunain yno.
5
Roedden nhw fel dynion yn chwifio bwyeill wrth glirio drysni a choed;
6
yn dryllio'r holl waith cerfio cywrain gyda bwyeill a morthwylion.
7
Yna rhoi dy gysegr ar dân; a dinistrio'n llwyr y deml lle roeddet ti'n aros.
8
“Gadewch i ni ddinistrio'r cwbl!” medden nhw. A dyma nhw'n llosgi pob cysegr i Dduw yn y tir.
9
Does dim arwydd o obaith i'w weld! Does dim proffwyd ar ôl; neb sy'n gwybod am faint mae hyn yn mynd i bara.
10
O Dduw, am faint mwy mae'r gelyn yn mynd i wawdio? Ydy e'n mynd i gael sarhau dy enw di am byth?
11
Pam wyt ti ddim yn gwneud rhywbeth? Pam wyt ti'n dal yn ôl? Plîs gwna rywbeth!
12
O Dduw, ti ydy fy Mrenin i o'r dechrau! Ti ydy'r Duw sy'n gweithredu ac yn achub ar y ddaear!
13
Ti, yn dy nerth, wnaeth hollti'r môr. Ti ddrylliodd bennau y ddraig yn y dŵr.
14
Ti sathrodd bennau Lefiathan, a'i adael yn fwyd i greaduriaid yr anialwch.
15
Ti agorodd y ffynhonnau a'r nentydd, a sychu llif yr afonydd.
16
Ti sy'n rheoli'r dydd a'r nos; ti osododd y lleuad a'r haul yn eu lle.
17
Ti roddodd dymhorau i'r ddaear; haf a gaeaf — ti drefnodd y cwbl!
18
Cofia fel mae'r gelyn wedi dy wawdio di, ARGLWYDD; fel mae pobl ffôl wedi dy sarhau di.
19
Paid rhoi dy golomen i'r bwystfil! Paid anghofio dy bobl druan yn llwyr.
20
Cofia'r ymrwymiad wnest ti! Mae lleoedd tywyll sy'n guddfan i greulondeb ym mhobman.
21
Paid gadael i'r bobl sy'n dioddef droi'n ôl yn siomedig. Gad i'r tlawd a'r anghenus foli dy enw.
22
Cod, O Dduw, a dadlau dy achos! Cofia fod ffyliaid yn dy wawdio drwy'r adeg.
23
Paid diystyru twrw'r gelynion, a bloeddio diddiwedd y rhai sy'n dy wrthwynebu di.
