Salm Dafydd. [1] Bendith ar yr ARGLWYDD, fy nghraig i! Mae e wedi dysgu fy nwylo i ymladd, a'm bysedd i frwydro.

Mae'r Un ffyddlon fel castell o'm cwmpas; fy hafan ddiogel a'r un sy'n fy achub i. Fy nharian, a'r un dw i'n cysgodi ynddo. Mae e'n gwneud i wledydd eraill ymostwng i mi.

O ARGLWYDD, beth ydy pobl i ti boeni amdanyn nhw? Pam ddylet ti feddwl ddwywaith am berson dynol?
4
Mae pobl fel tarth. Mae bywyd fel cysgod yn pasio heibio.
5
O ARGLWYDD, gwthia'r awyr o'r ffordd, a tyrd i lawr! Cyffwrdd y mynyddoedd, a gwna iddyn nhw fygu!
6
Gwna i fellt fflachio a chwala'r gelyn! Anfon dy saethau i lawr a'u gyrru nhw ar ffo!
7
Estyn dy law i lawr o'r entrychion. Achub fi! Tynna fi allan o'r dŵr dwfn! Achub fi o afael estroniaid
8
sy'n dweud celwyddau ac sy'n torri pob addewid.
9
O Dduw, dw i am ganu cân newydd i ti, i gyfeiliant offeryn dectant.
10
Canu i ti sydd wedi rhoi buddugoliaeth i frenhinoedd, ac achub dy was Dafydd rhag y cleddyf marwol.
11
Achub fi o afael estroniaid sy'n dweud celwyddau ac sy'n torri pob addewid.
12
Bydd ein meibion fel planhigion ifanc wedi tyfu yn eu hieuenctid; a'n merched fel y pileri ar gorneli'r palas, wedi eu cerfio i harddu'r adeilad.
13
Bydd ein hysguboriau'n llawn o bob math o fwyd; a bydd miloedd o ddefaid, ie, degau o filoedd, yn ein caeau.
14
Bydd ein gwartheg yn iach — heb bla a heb erthyliad; A fydd dim wylo yn y strydoedd.
15
Mae pobl mor ffodus pan mae pethau felly! Mae'r bobl sydd â'r ARGLWYDD yn Dduw iddyn nhw wedi eu bendithio'n fawr!
