Salm gan Asaff. [1] O Dduw, mae'r gwledydd paganaidd wedi cymryd dy dir. Maen nhw wedi halogi dy deml sanctaidd a troi Jerwsalem yn bentwr o gerrig.
2
Maen nhw wedi gadael cyrff dy weision yn fwyd i'r adar; a chnawd dy bobl ffyddlon i anifeiliaid gwylltion.
3
Mae gwaed dy bobl yn llifo fel dŵr o gwmpas Jerwsalem, a does neb i gladdu'r cyrff.
4
Dŷn ni'n gyff gwawd i'n cymdogion; ac yn destun sbort a dirmyg i bawb o'n cwmpas.
5
Am faint mwy, O ARGLWYDD? Fyddi di'n ddig am byth? Fydd dy eiddigedd, sy'n llosgi fel tân, byth yn diffodd?
6
Tywallt dy lid ar y bobloedd sydd ddim yn dy nabod a'r teyrnasoedd hynny sydd ddim yn dy addoli!
7
Nhw ydy'r rhai sydd wedi llarpio Jacob a dinistrio ei gartref.
8
Aethon ni ar gyfeiliorn, ond paid dal hynny yn ein herbyn. Brysia! Dangos dosturi aton ni, achos dŷn ni mewn trafferthion go iawn!
9
Helpa ni, O Dduw ein hachubwr, er mwyn dy enw da. Achub ni a maddau ein pechodau, er mwyn dy enw da.
10
Pam ddylai'r paganiaid gael dweud, “Ble mae eu Duw nhw?” Gad i ni dy weld di'n rhoi gwers i'r cenhedloedd, a talu'n ôl iddyn nhw am dywallt gwaed dy weision.
11
Gwrando ar y carcharorion rhyfel yn griddfan! Defnyddia dy nerth i arbed y rhai sydd wedi eu condemnio i farwolaeth!
12
Tala yn ôl yn llawn i'n cymdogion! Maen nhw wedi dy enllibio di, Feistr.
13
Yna byddwn ni, dy bobl a phraidd dy borfa, yn ddiolchgar i ti am byth ac yn dy foli di ar hyd y cenedlaethau!
