Cân. Salm gan Asaff. [1] O Dduw, paid bod yn ddistaw! Paid diystyru ni a gwneud dim!

Edrych! Mae dy elynion di'n codi twrw. Mae'r rhai sy'n dy gasáu di yn codi eu pennau.
3
Maen nhw mor gyfrwys, ac yn cynllwynio yn erbyn dy bobl di. Maen nhw am wneud niwed i'r rhai rwyt ti'n eu trysori!
4
Maen nhw'n dweud, “Gadewch i ni eu difa nhw'n llwyr! Fydd dim sôn am genedl Israel byth mwy.”
5
Maen nhw'n unfrydol yn eu bwriad, ac wedi ffurfio cynghrair yn dy erbyn di —
6
pobl Edom a'r Ismaeliaid, Moab a'r Hagriaid,
7
Gebal, Ammon, ac Amalec, Philistia a phobl Tyrus.
8
Mae Asyria wedi ymuno â nhw hefyd, i roi help llaw i ddisgynyddion Lot. Saib
9
Delia gyda nhw fel y gwnest ti gyda Midian — fel y gwnest ti i Sisera a Jabin, wrth afon Cison.
10
Cawson nhw eu dinistrio yn En-dor. Roedd eu cyrff fel tail ar wyneb y tir!
11
Delia gyda'i harweinwyr nhw fel y gwnest ti gydag Oreb a Seeb. Gwna eu tywysogion nhw fel Seba a Tsalmwna,
12
oedd am ddwyn y tir i gyd oddi ar Dduw.
13
O fy Nuw, trin nhw fel plu ysgall, neu us yn cael ei chwythu gan y gwynt!
14
Difa nhw, fel mae tân yn llosgi coedwig, a'i fflamau'n lledu dros y bryniau.
15
Dos ar eu hôl nhw â'th storm, a'u dychryn nhw â'th gorwynt.
16
Coda gywilydd arnyn nhw, a gwna iddyn nhw dy gydnabod di, O ARGLWYDD.
17
Cywilydd a dychryn fydd byth yn dod i ben! Gad iddyn nhw farw yn eu gwarth!
18
Byddan nhw'n deall wedyn mai ti ydy'r ARGLWYDD, ie, ti yn unig! Ti ydy'r Duw Goruchaf sy'n rheoli'r byd i gyd!
