Salm Dafydd. [1] O ARGLWYDD, gwrando ar fy ngweddi. Gwranda arna i'n pledio am dy help di! Ti'n Dduw ffyddlon a chyfiawn, felly plîs ateb fi.

Paid rhoi dy was ar brawf, achos does neb yn ddieuog yn dy olwg di.

Mae'r gelyn wedi dod ar fy ôl i, ac wedi fy sathru i'r llawr. Mae wedi gwneud i mi eistedd yn y tywyllwch fel y rhai sydd wedi marw ers talwm.

Dw i'n anobeithio! Dw i wedi fy mharlysu gan ddychryn!
5
Ond wedyn dw i'n cofio am beth wnest ti yn y gorffennol, ac yn myfyrio ar y cwbl wnest ti ei gyflawni.

Dw i'n estyn fy nwylo allan atat ti. Dw i fel tir sych yn hiraethu am law! Saib
7
Brysia! Ateb fi, ARGLWYDD! Alla i ddim diodde dim mwy! Paid troi i ffwrdd oddi wrtho i, neu bydda i'n syrthio i bwll marwolaeth.
8
Gad i mi glywed am dy gariad ffyddlon di yn y bore, achos dw i'n dy drystio di. Gad i mi wybod pa ffordd i fynd — dw i'n dyheu amdanat ti!
9
Achub fi o afael y gelyn, O ARGLWYDD; dw i'n rhedeg atat ti am gysgod.
10
Dysga fi i wneud beth wyt ti eisiau, achos Ti ydy fy Nuw i. Boed i dy Ysbryd hael di fy arwain i rywle saff.
11
Achub fi, O ARGLWYDD, er mwyn dy enw da. Ti'n Dduw cyfiawn, felly arwain fi allan o'r helynt yma.
12
Rwyt ti mor ffyddlon. Delia gyda'r gelynion! Dinistria'r rhai sy'n ymosod arna i, achos dy was di ydw i.
