Gan Solomon. [1] O Dduw, rho'r gallu i'r brenin i farnu'n deg, a gwna i fab y brenin wneud beth sy'n iawn.
2
Helpa fe i farnu'r bobl yn ddiduedd, a thrin dy bobl anghenus yn iawn.
3
Boed i'r mynyddoedd gyhoeddi heddwch a'r bryniau gyfiawnder i'r bobl.
4
Bydd e'n amddiffyn achos pobl dlawd, yn achub pawb sydd mewn angen ac yn cosbi'r rhai sy'n eu cam-drin.
5
Bydd pobl yn dy addoli tra bydd haul yn yr awyr, a'r lleuad yn goleuo, o un genhedlaeth i'r llall.
6
Bydd fel glaw mân yn disgyn ar dir ffrwythlon, neu gawodydd trwm yn dyfrhau y tir.
7
Gwna i gyfiawnder lwyddo yn ei ddyddiau, ac i heddwch gynyddu tra bo'r lleuad yn yr awyr.
8
Boed iddo deyrnasu o fôr i fôr, ac o'r Afon Ewffrates i ben draw'r byd!
9
Gwna i lwythau'r anialwch blygu o'i flaen, ac i'w elynion lyfu'r llwch.
10
Bydd brenhinoedd Tarshish a'r ynysoedd yn talu trethi iddo; brenhinoedd Sheba a Seba yn dod â rhoddion iddo.
11
Bydd y brenhinoedd i gyd yn plygu o'i flaen, a'r cenhedloedd i gyd yn ei wasanaethu.
12
Mae'n achub y rhai sy'n galw arno mewn angen, a'r tlawd sydd heb neb i'w helpu.
13
Mae'n gofalu am y gwan a'r anghenus, ac yn achub y tlodion.
14
Mae'n eu rhyddhau nhw o afael gormes a thrais; mae eu bywyd nhw'n werthfawr yn ei olwg.
15
Hir oes iddo! Boed iddo dderbyn aur o Sheba; Boed i bobl weddïo drosto'n ddi-baid a dymuno bendith Duw arno bob amser.
16
Boed digonedd o ŷd yn y wlad — yn tyfu hyd at ben y mynyddoedd! Boed i'r cnydau lwyddo fel coed Libanus! Boed i bobl y trefi ffynnu fel glaswellt!
17
Boed iddo fod yn enwog am byth; a boed i'w linach aros tra bod haul yn yr awyr! Boed i bobl gael eu bendithio trwyddo, ac i genhedloedd weld mor hapus ydy e.
18
Bendith ar yr ARGLWYDD Dduw! Duw Israel, yr unig un sy'n gwneud pethau rhyfeddol!
19
Bendigedig fyddo'i enw gwych am byth! Boed i'w ysblander lenwi'r byd i gyd! Ie! Amen ac Amen.
20
Dyma ddiwedd y casgliad yma o weddïau Dafydd fab Jesse.
