Den dagen skal sju kvinner ta fatt i ein og same mann ¬og seia: «Vi skal sjølve fø og kle oss, berre vi får bera ditt namn. Ta bort vår vanære!»

Den dagen ¬skal Herrens renning vera til prydnad og ære og landsens frukt gild og fager for dei som slapp unna i Israel.

Dei som er att på Sion og etterleivde i Jerusalem, skal kallast heilage, alle som er oppskrivne til livet i Jerusalem.

Når Herren har vaska bort ureinskapen hjå Sions døtrer og skylt blodskulda ¬ut or Jerusalem med doms- og reinsingsande,
5
då skal han skapa ¬ei røyksky om dagen og ein lysande, logande eld ¬om natta over heile Sion-fjellet og over møtestadene der. For over alt herleg ¬skal det vera eit dekke,
6
eit tak som skyggjer for heten ¬om dagen og gjev livd og skjol ¬mot uver og regn.
