Nibazane amazi mwoge ibirenge, muruhukire munsi y'iki giti,

nanjye ngiye kubazanira amazimano mufungure mubone gukomeza urugendo, ntimwanyura iwanjye ngo mugendere aho!” Baramubwira bati: “Turabyemeye.”

Aburahamu yihutira mu ihema rye, asanga Sara aramubwira ati: “Gira vuba ufate ifu nyinshi kandi nziza, ubakorere imigati.”
7
Hanyuma Aburahamu yirukira mu nka, atoranyamo ikimasa cyiza cy'umushishe agiha umugaragu we, na we yihutira kukibaga.
8
Inyama zimaze gushya Aburahamu azizanira abashyitsi, hamwe n'amata y'ikivuguto n'ay'inshyushyu, maze we ahagarara hafi yabo munsi y'igiti igihe bafungura.
9
Nuko baramubaza bati: “Umugore wawe Sara ari he?” Arasubiza ati: “Ari mu ihema.”
10
Umwe muri bo aravuga ati: “Undi mwaka iki gihe nzagaruka iwawe, kandi umugore wawe Sara azaba yarabyaye umwana w'umuhungu.” Ubwo Sara yarumvaga kuko yari inyuma ya Aburahamu mu muryango w'ihema.

Aburahamu na Sara bari bashaje bageze mu zabukuru, kandi Sara yari yaracuze.
12
Nuko asekera mu mutima yibwira ati: “Ko maze gukecura n'umutware wanjye akaba ashaje cyane, uwo munezero nawukura he?”
13
Uhoraho abaza Aburahamu ati: “Sara ashekejwe n'iki? Kuki atemera ko azabyara ashaje?
14
Mbese hari ikintu cyananira? Undi mwaka iki gihe nzagaruka iwawe, kandi Sara azaba yarabyaye umwana w'umuhungu.”
15
Sara agira ubwoba maze arahakana ati: “Sinigeze nseka!” Uhoraho ati: “Nyamara wasetse!”
16
Nuko ba bagabo barahaguruka bakomeza urugendo berekeza i Sodoma, Aburahamu arabaherekeza.
17
Uhoraho aribwira ati: “Sinahisha Aburahamu icyo ngiye gukora.
18
Dore Aburahamu azakomokwaho n'ubwoko bukomeye, kandi amahanga yose yo ku isi ni we azaherwamo umugisha.
19
Namutoranyirije kugira ngo azategeke abahungu be n'abazamukomokaho kunyumvira, no kuba intungane no gukurikiza ubutabera. Nibabigenza batyo nzamusohoreza ibyo namusezeraniye.”
20
Maze Uhoraho abwira Aburahamu ati: “Abatuye i Sodoma n'i Gomora baregwa ubutitsa ko ibyaha byabo byarenze ihaniro!
21
None ngiyeyo ndebe niba ibyo baregwa ari byo, cyangwa ko bidafite ishingiro.”
22
Babiri muri abo bagabo bakomeza kugenda berekeje i Sodoma, naho Uhoraho asigarana na Aburahamu.
23
Aburahamu aramubaza ati: “Mbese warimburana intungane n'abagome?
24
Habaye hari intungane mirongo itanu mu mujyi wa Sodoma, mbese wawurimbura? Mbese ntiwawugirira imbabazi kubera izo ntungane mirongo itanu?
25
Ntibikabeho ngo wicane intungane n'abagome! Ntibikabeho ngo ucire intungane urw'abagome! Uri umucamanza w'isi yose ntiwarenganya.”
26
Uhoraho aramusubiza ati: “Ninsanga mu mujyi wa Sodoma hari intungane mirongo itanu, nzawugirira imbabazi kubera izo ntungane mirongo itanu.”
27
Aburahamu arongera ati: “Nyagasani mpangaye kuvugana nawe nubwo ndi umukungugu n'ivu.
28
Mbese ku ntungane mirongo itanu nihaburamo eshanu, uzarimbura umujyi wose kubera abantu batanu babuze?” Uhoraho aramusubiza ati: “Nimpasanga intungane mirongo ine n'eshanu, sinzawurimbura.”
29
Aburahamu arongera ati: “None se nihabonekamo mirongo ine?” Uhoraho aramusubiza ati: “Sinzawurimbura kubera intungane mirongo ine.”
30
Aburahamu arongera ati: “Nyagasani ntundakarire nongere nkubaze. Bizagenda bite nihaboneka mirongo itatu?” Uhoraho aramusubiza ati: “Sinzawurimbura nimpasanga intungane mirongo itatu.”
31
Aburahamu arakomeza ati: “Nyagasani nongeye guhangara kukubaza: none se habonetse makumyabiri?” Uhoraho aramusubiza ati: “Sinzawurimbura kubera intungane makumyabiri.”
32
Aburahamu arongera ati: “Nyagasani ntundakarire ureke mvuge rimwe gusa. Bizagenda bite nihaboneka icumi gusa?” Uhoraho aramusubiza ati: “Sinzawurimbura kubera intungane icumi.”
33
Uhoraho amaze kuvugana na we akomeza urugendo, Aburahamu we arataha.
