Aur Filistíoṉ ne Sáúl ká aur us ke beṭoṉ ká ḳhúb píchhá kiyá; aur Filistíoṉ ne Yúnatan, aur Abinadáb, aur Malikishú‘a ko jo Sáúl ke beṭe the, qatl kiyá.

Aur Sáúl par jang dobar ho gayí, aur tírandázoṉ ne use já liyá, aur wuh tírandázoṉ ke sabab se pareshán thá.

Tab Sáúl ne apne siláhbardár se kahá, Apní talwár kheṉch, aur us se mujhe chhed de, tá na ho ki yih námaḳhtún ákar merí behurmatí kareṉ. Par us ke siláhbardár ne na máná, kyúṉki wuh bahut ḍar gayá. Tab Sáúl ne apní talwár lí, aur us par girá.

Jab us ke siláhbardár ne dekhá, ki Sáúl mar gayá, to wuh bhí talwár par girá, aur mar gayá.

Pas Sáúl mar gayá, aur us ke tínoṉ beṭe bhí, aur us ká sárá ḳhándán yak laḳht mar miṭá.

Jab sab Isráílí logoṉ ne jo wádí meṉ the dekhá ki log bhág nikle, aur Sáúl aur us ke beṭe mar gaye, to wuh apne shahroṉ ko chhoṛkar bhág gaye, aur Filistí ákar un meṉ base.

Aur dúsre din subh ko, jab Filistí maqtúloṉ ko naṉgá karne áe, to unhoṉ ne Sáúl aur us ke beṭoṉ ko koh i Jilbú‘a par paṛe páyá.

So unhoṉ ne us ko naṉgá kiyá, aur us ká sir, aur us ke hathyár le liye, aur Filistíoṉ ke mulk meṉ chároṉ taraf log rawána kar diye, táki un ke butoṉ aur logoṉ ke pas us ḳhushḳhabarí ko pahuṉcháeṉ.

Aur unhoṉ ne us ke hathyároṉ ko apne deotáoṉ ke mandir meṉ rakkhá, aur us ke sir ko Dajún ke mandir meṉ laṭká diyá.

Jab Yabís Jili‘ád ke sab logoṉ ne jo kuchh Filistíoṉ ne Sáúl se kiyá thá suná,

to un meṉ ke sab bahádur uṭhe, aur Sáúl kí lásh aur us ke beṭoṉ kí lásheṉ lekar un ko Yabís meṉ láe, aur un kí haḍḍiyoṉ ko Yabís ke balút ke níche dafn kiyá, aur sát din tak roza rakkhá.

So Sáúl apne gunáh ke sabab se, jo us ne Ḳhudáwand ke huzúr kiyá thá, mará, is liye ki us ne Ḳhudáwand kí bát na mání, aur is liye bhí, ki us ne us se mashwara kiyá, jis ká yár jinn thá táki us ke zarí‘e se daryáft kare,

aur us ne Ḳhudáwand se daryáft na kiyá; so us ne us ko már ḍálá, aur saltanat Yassí ke beṭe Dáúd kí taraf muntaqil kar dí.
