Syng en ny sang for Herren! Hele jorden, syng for Herren! Syng for Herren og lov Hans navn! Forkynn fra dag til dag evangeliet om Hans frelse! Forkynn om Hans herlighet blant de folkene som ikke kjenner Ham. Forkynn at Han gjør under blant alle folk.

For Herren er stor og verdig all pris. Han skal fryktes framfor alle guder. For andre guder er ikke noe verd, men vår Herre skapte himmelen. Hans ansikt stråler av prakt og majestet. Hans helligdom er full av Hans styrke og herlighet.

Alle folkestammer: Gi Herren ære og makt! Gi Herren den ære som Hans navn er verdig. Kom til templets forgård med offergaver.

Tilbe Herren i Hans hellighets skrud! Skjelv for Hans ansikt, hele jorden! Si til folkeslagene: «Det er Herren som regjerer, for Han har lagt verden på en solid grunn. Han skal dømme uten å gjøre forskjell på folk.» Himmelen skal glede seg, og jorden skal fryde seg! La havet buldre med alt som fyller det.

La marken og alt som er på den, fylles av glede! Da skal alle skogens trær juble for Herren. For Han kommer! Han skal dømme verden med rettferdighet og folkene med sin trofasthet.
