Sing vir die Here 'n nuwe lied, sing vir die Here, o ganse aarde!
2
Sing vir die Here, prys sy Naam, verkondig sy verlossing van dag tot dag.
3
Maak onder die nasies sy majesteit bekend, onder al die volke sy wonderdade.
4
Want groot is die Here en besonder lofwaardig; Hy is ontsagwekkend, meer as alle gode.
5
Ja, al die gode van die volke is niksbeduidend, maar die Here het die hemel gemaak.
6
Luister en glans is voor Hom; krag en heerlikheid is in sy heiligdom.
7
Gee eer aan die Here, familiegroepe van volke! Gee eer aan die Here vir sy heerlikheid en krag!
8
Gee eer aan die Here vir die heerlikheid van sy Naam! Bring dankbewyse en gaan sy voorhowe binne.
9
Buig in aanbidding voor die Here in sy glansryke heiligheid! Bewe vanweë sy teenwoordigheid, o ganse aarde!
10
Sê onder die nasies: “Die Here regeer; ja, die wêreld staan vas, dit wankel nie. Hy oordeel volke met billikheid.”
11
Laat die hemel bly wees, en die aarde juig; laat die see en alles daarin dit uitbasuin.
12
Laat die veld en alles daarop jubel; dan sal alle bome in die bos van vreugde uitroep
13
voor die Here. Want Hy kom, ja, Hy kom om die aarde te oordeel; Hy sal die wêreld oordeel in •geregtigheid, en volke ooreenkomstig sy trou.
