Amhail is trua leis an athair a chlann, is trua leis an Tiarna lucht a eaglaithe.

Is cosúil ré an duine le féar; bláthaíonn sé amhail bláth an mhachaire.

Téann sé ar ceal le leoithne gaoithe, agus ní fios dá ionad féin é feasta.

Ach maireann buanghrá an Tiarna go síoraí don dream ar a mbíonn a eagla,
18
agus a fhíréantacht do chlann a gclainne nuair a chomhlíonann siad a chonradh go dílis, agus go ndéanann siad de réir a thola.
19
Shocraigh an Tiarna a chathaoir ar neamh; agus rialaíonn a ríogacht gach aon ní.
20
Molaigí an Tiarna, a aingle uile an Tiarna a dhéanann a réir go cumasach, agus a bhíonn go humhal dá bhriathar.
21
Molaigí an Tiarna, a aingle uile an Tiarna, a lucht fónaimh a dhéanann a thoil.
22
Molaigí an Tiarna, a oibreacha uile an Tiarna i ngach uile áit dá bhfuil faoina réir. Beannaigh an Tiarna, a anam liom.
