Is ionat a chuirim mo dhóchas, nár dhéantar mo náiriú, a Dhia; ná maíodh mo naimhde a mbua orm.

Ní náireofar a gcuireann a ndóchas ionat ach an dream a fheallann gan ábhar ar iontaoibh.

Taispeáin do shlite dom, a Thiarna, agus déan do chosáin a mhúineadh dom.
5
Déan mo threorú i d' fhírinne, tabhair teagasc dom, óir is tú mo Dhia agus mo shlánaitheoir. Is ortsa a bhím ag feitheamh feadh an lae ABN: 5., 7c, 6, 7a, 7b, 8

Bí ag cuimhneamh, a Thiarna, ar do thrócaire agus ar an ngrá a thaispeáin tú riamh.

7a Ná cuimhnigh ar chionta m' óige 7b ach amháin ar do bhuanghrá féin. 7c mar gheall ar do chineáltas, a Thiarna.

Is grásmhar agus is ionraic é an Tiarna, taispeánann sé an tslí do na peacaigh.

Díríonn sé dream na huirísle san fhíréantacht agus múineann a shlí don duine cneasta.
10
Buanghrá is dílse cosáin uile an Tiarna dá gcomhlíonann a chonradh agus a aithne.

Ar mhaithe le d' ainmse, a Thiarna, maith dom mo pheaca, óir is mór é.
12
Cé hé an fear lenarb eagal an Tiarna? Déanfaidh sé eolas na slí is tofa dó.
13
Mairfidh a anam faoi shéan agus faoi shonas agus gheobhaidh a shliocht an talamh.
14
Tá gean an Tiarna ar lucht a eaglaithe agus is dóibh a fhoilsíonn sé a chonradh.
15
Bíonn mo shúile ar an Tiarna de shíor óir scaoilfidh seisean mo chosa as an líon.
16
Iompaigh i leith orm le trócaire, óir táimse i m' aonarán angarach.
17
Tabhair faoiseamh don chroí atá cráite agus beir mé slán ón anacair.
18
Tabhair do d' aire mo bhrón is mo bhuairt agus maith dom mo pheacaí go léir.
19
Féach a líonmhaire atá mo naimhde, a bhfuil fuath thar fóir acu dom.
20
Déan m' anam a chosaint, agus fuascail mé; nár náirítear mé toisc mo thriall a bheith ort.
21
Go gcumhdaí an neamhurchóid is an t-ionracas mé, óir is ionat atá mo dhóchas, a Thiarna.
22
A Dhia, saor Iosrael ar a chúngaigh go léir!
