Thugadar mar an gcéanna corpáin do sheirbhíseach chun bheith ina mbia ag éanlaith an aeir agus feoil do chuid naomh d' ainmhithe allta na tíre.

Dhoirt siad a gcuid fola amhail uisce mórthimpeall Iarúsailéim; agus ní raibh duine le fáil a chuirfeadh san uaigh iad.
4
Táimid mar ábhar aithise go dearfa ag ár gcomharsana; is ceap magaidh agus scige sinn dá mbíonn inár dtimpeall.
5
Cá fhad, a Thiarna? An mbeidh tú i bhfeirg linn go deo? Cá fhad a bheidh d' fhormad ar lasadh mar thine?
6
Lig amach do racht ar na ciníocha; ar na ríochtaí nach bhfuil admháil acu ar d' ainm.
7
Óir is amhlaidh a d' alp siad Iacób; agus rinne siad a áras cónaithe a scriosadh.
8
Ná leag orainne coireanna ár sean agus ár sinsear; go dtaga do thrua inár ndáil gan mhoill mar tá srathair na hainnise ag brú orainn go dóite.
9
A Dhia ar slánaithe, brostaigh chun ár gcúnaimh; cuidigh linn ar mhaithe le glóir d' ainm féin. Fuascail sinn agus maith dúinn ár bpeacaí as ucht d' ainm.
10
Cad fáth a ndeir na ciníocha: «Cá bhfuil a nDia?» Gura follas do na ciníocha os comhair ár súl go mbainfidh tú díoltas díobh in éiric fuil do sheirbhíseach a dhoirteadh.
11
Go dtaga i do láthair osnaí bróin na bpríosúnach; agus go saora tú le do chumhacht an dream a daoradh chun báis.
12
Cúitigh, a Thiarna, faoi sheacht lenár gcomharsana; an aithis urghránna a chas siad leatsa.
13
Ach sinne, do phobal agus caoirigh do pháirce, tabharfaimid buíochas duit go brách na breithe; agus foilseoímid do mholadh ó ghlúin go chéile.
