3 Lorgaim an Tiarna in am mo bhuartha; Sínim mo lámha chuige gan sos ar feadh na hoíche, agus diúltaíonn m' anam don sólás.

4 Ligim osnadh is mé ag smaoineamh ar Dhia; ar mo mharana dom is lag liom mo mheanma. Selah

5 Baineann tú codladh na hoíche de mo shúile; ní fhéadaim labhairt le méad mo bhuartha.

9 An bhfuil deireadh go deo lena ghrá dúinn; an bhfuil a ghealltanas gan bhrí go brách?

10 Ar thug Dia a thrua i ndíchuimhne; ar bhuaigh an fhearg ar an taise aige? Selah

17 Thug na huiscí dá n-aire thú, a Dhia; Thug siad dá n-aire thú agus ghlac siad eagla, agus chrith na duibheagáin le barr sceimhle.

18 Bhí na scamaill ag stealladh uisce anuas; bhí na spéartha ag caitheamh toirní go torannach; agus do shaigheada ag scinneadh de gach leith dínn.
