3 «An uair a shocróidh mé féin tabharfaidh mé breith de réir an chirt.

4 Bíodh go gcorraítear an talamh agus a bhfuil ann is mé a dhaingnigh a cholúin.

5 Deirim le lucht bladhmainn: 'Scoirigí de bhur mbladhmann'; agus leis na hurchóidigh: 'Ná maígí bhur neart,

6 ná déanaigí gaisce as bhur neart, ná labhraigí go dolba dána.»

7 Óir ní ón aird anoir ná aniar, ón bhfásach ná ón sliabh a thig an bhreith;

8 is é Dia féin an breitheamh; umhlaíonn sé nó ardaíonn sé de réir mar a oireann.

9 Tá cupán d' fhíon dearg ag an Tiarna; spíosraí ann is an cúr ag cur thar maoil. Doirtfear amach é agus déanfar a dhiúgadh; diúgfaidh urchóidigh uile an talaimh é.

10a Maidir liomsa: déanfaidh mé gairdeas go deo; canfaidh mé Salm do Dhia Iacóib.
