Is ar neamh atá ár nDiana; gach uile ní is áil leis, déanann sé é.
4
Ór agus airgead a n-íolasan, agus saothar láimhe an duine.
5
Tá béal acu ach ní fhéadann siad labhairt; tá súile acu ach ní fheiceann siad dada.
6
Tá cluasa orthu ach ní chluineann siad dada; tá sróna acu ach ní bhfaigheann siad boladh.
7
Tá lámha acu ach ní láimhsíonn siad aon ní; tá cosa acu ach ní thig leo siúl; ní thagann aon ghlór óna scornach.
8
Is ionann cás do lucht a ndéanta agus do chách a chuireann a ndóchas iontu.
9
Tá dóchas chlann Iosrael sa Tiarna; is é is cabhair agus is sciath dóibh.
10
Tá dóchas chlann Árón sa Tiarna is é is cabhair agus is sciath dóibh.
11
Cuireann lucht eagla an Tiarna a ndóchas ann; is é is cabhair agus is sciath dóibh.
12
Is cuimhin leis an Tiarna sinn; beannóidh sé sinn; beannóidh sé clann Iosrael agus clann Árón.
13
Beannóidh sé lucht eagla an Tiarna, idir mhion agus mhór in éineacht.
14
Méadóidh an Tiarna i gcónaí sibh, sibhse agus bhur gclann go léir.
15
Go raibh beannacht an Tiarna anuas oraibh ón té a rinne neamh agus talamh.
16
Is leis an Tiarna amháin na flaithis; ach thug sé an talamh don duine.
17
Ní hiad na mairbh a thabharfaidh moladh don Tiarna, ná an drong a ghabhann síos san uaigh.
18
Ach tabharfaimidne moladh don Tiarna, anois agus go brách na breithe.
