3 d' fhonn do bhuanghrá a fhógairt ar maidin, agus do dhílse i dtráthanna na hoíche,
3
4 le ceol na cruite agus na cláirsí; mar aon le ceadal na lire.

5 Óir chuir do ghníomhartha áthas orm, a Thiarna; déanaim gairdeas in oibreacha do lámh.
5
6 Nach éachtach iad d' oibreacha, a Thiarna! nach domhain iad go dearfa do smaointe!
6
7 Ní aithníonn fear na díchéille, ná ní thuigeann an t-amadán an ní seo.
7
8 Cé go n-eascraíonn na héagráifigh mar fhéar, agus go mbíonn na hainbheartaigh faoi bhláth,
8
9 níl i ndán dóibh ach léirscrios go brách; ach is tusa, a Thiarna, an Neach is Airde de shíor.
9
10 Óir scriosfar do naimhde, sea do naimhde, a Thiarna, agus scaipfear na hurchóidigh go léir.

11 Thug tú dom neart an daimh allta, agus dhoirt tú ola úr orm anuas.

12 D' fhéach mo shúile go buach ar mo naimhde; chuala mo chluasa dea-scéala a dtreascartha.
12
13 Beidh na fíréin faoi bhláth mar chrann pailme; fásfaidh siad mar chéadras na Liobáine.
13
14 Arna bplandú in áras an Tiarna dóibh, beidh siad faoi mhaise i gcúirteanna Dé.
14
15 Tabharfaidh siad toradh uathu fiú amháin nuair is críon dóibh, agus iad go húrghlas i gcónaí,
15
16 a fhoilsiú a fhíréanta is atá an Tiarna; mo charraig é, gan mí-ionracas ar bith ann.
