Louvado seja o Senhor! Louvem o nome do Senhor; louvem-no os servos do Senhor,

que estão no templo do Senhor, nos átrios do templo do nosso Deus.

Louvem o Senhor, porque ele é bom; cantem em sua honra, porque ele é amável.

Pois ele escolheu Jacob para si e o povo de Israel para ser o seu povo.

Na verdade, eu sei que o Senhor é grande, que o nosso Deus é maior do que todos os deuses.

Pois tudo o que o Senhor decide ele o faz, no céu e na terra, nos mares e nas profundezas.

Fez maravilhas e prodígios, por todo o Egito, para castigar o faraó e todos os seus servidores

Ele destruiu muitas nações e matou reis poderosos:

Seon, rei dos amorreus, Og, rei de Basã, e todos os reis de Canaã.

E as terras desses reis, deu-as como herança ao seu povo de Israel.

Senhor, tu serás para sempre proclamado como Deus! Todas as gerações se lembrarão de ti!

O Senhor defende a causa do seu povo e terá compaixão dos seus servos.

Os ídolos dos povos não passam de ouro e prata, objetos fabricados por mãos de homens.

têm ouvidos, mas não ouvem; têm boca e nem sequer respiram!

Que aqueles que os fazem e os que neles confiam se tornem iguais a eles.

Casa de Israel, bendigam o Senhor! Sacerdotes, bendigam o Senhor!

Levitas, bendigam o Senhor! Bendigam o Senhor todos os que lhe são fiéis.
