Bwana, mkumbukie Dawidi masumbuko yake yote!

Yeye alimwapia Bwana, kisha akamwagia naye yule Mwenye nguvu aliye Mungu wa Yakobo:
3
Sitaingia nyumbani mwangu, nilimotua, wala sitapanda kitandani pangu pa kulalia,
4
nitayazuia macho yangu, yasipate uzingizi, nitaziangalia nazo kope zangu, zisisinzie,
5
mpaka nitakapompatia Bwana mahali pa kuwapo, pawe makao yake Mwenye nguvu aliye Mungu wa Yakobo.
6
Ndivyo, tulivyovisikia katika nchi ya Efurata, ndivyo, tulivyoviona mashambani kwenye misitu.
7
Na tuingie hapo, makao yake yalipo! Na tumwangukie hapo, anapowekea miguu yake!
8
Inuka, Bwana, uingie penya kituo chako, wewe na Sanduku la Agano lenye nguvu zako,
9
watambikaji wako wajivike wongofu, wakuchao washangilie!
10
Kwa ajili ya mtumishi wako Dawidi usiurudishe nyuma uso wake yeye, uliyempaka mafuta.
11
Bwana alimwapia Dawidi kiapo cha kweli, naye hatakiacha akirudi nyuma:
12
Walio uzao wa mwili wako nitawaketisha katika kiti chako cha kifalme, Kama wanao watalishika Agano langu, walifanye, kama watayashika hayo mashuhuda yangu, nitakayowafundisha, wana wao wataketi kale na kale katika kiti chako cha kifalme.
13
Kwani Bwana aliuchagua mji wa Sioni, akaupenda, uwe Kao lake:
14
Hapo ndipo, kitakapokuwa kituo changu cha kale na kale, hapo ndipo, nitakapokaa, kwani nimepapenda.
15
