Mungu, mpe mfalme kuamua, kama unavyoamua! Naye mwana wa mfalme mpe wongofu ulio kama wako!

Awahukumu walio ukoo wako kwa wongofu, nayo mashauri yao wanyonge wako ayanyoshe!
3
Milima iwe yenye matengemano ya kuwagawia watu, navyo vilima vilevile kwa nguvu ya wongofu!
4
Walio wanyonge kwao atawaamulia, nao wana wao maskini atawaokoa, lakini wakorofi atawaponda.
5
Jua likingali liko, watakuogopa wao wavizazi na vizazi, mwezi utakavyoviwakia.
6
Atashuka kama mvua inyweshayo uchome, au kama manyunyu ya mvua yalegazayo nchi.
7
Mwongofu atachipuka siku, atakazokuwapo; mpaka mwezi utakapokuwa hauko tena, utengemano utazidi.

Atatawala, bahari inakoanzia, mpaka huko, inakoishia, tena kuanzia kwenye jito kubwa mpaka mapeoni kwa nchi.

Wakaao nyikani watampigia magoti, sharti walambe mavumbi walio adui zake.

Wafalme wa Tarsisi na wa visiwa watampelekea matunzo, nao wafalme wa Arabia na wa Saba wataleta mahongo.
11
Wafalme wote pia watamwangukia, nao wamizimu wote watamtumikia.
12
Kwani atamwopoa maskini amliliaye, hata mnyonge akosaye mwenye kumsaidia.
13
Atamhurumia akorofikaye naye mkiwa, aziokoe roho zao walio wakiwa.
14
Atazikomboa roho zao mwao wanyang'anyi namo mwao wakorofi, maana damu zao ni zenye kiasi kikubwa machoni pake.
15
Na akae akiwa mwenye uzima, wamgawie nazo dhahabu za Arabia! Na wamwombee pasipo kukoma, wamtukuze siku zote.
16
Vilaji vifurike katika nchi mpaka juu milimani! Miti yake ya matunda na ivume kama miti ya Libanoni! Namo mijini watu na wazidi kuwa wengi kama majani uwandani!
17
Jina lake na liwepo kale na kale! Siku zote, jua likingali liko, jina lake na lichipuke, watu wa mataifa yote wajibariki na kulitaja pamoja na kulishangilia.
18
Na atukuzwe Bwana Mungu, Mungu wa Isiraeli! Yeye peke yake ndiye afanyaye vioja!
19
Jina lake tukufu na litukuzwe kale na kale! Nchi zote na zijae utukufu wake! Amin. Amin.
20
Huu ndio mwisho wa maombo ya Dawidi, mwana wa Isai.
