Wimbo wa wana wa Kora, waliomtungia mwimbishaji, auimbishe kama wimbo wa kwamba: Ugonjwa huinamisha. Fundisho la Hemani aliye wa ukoo wa Ezera.

Bwana Mungu uniokoaye, mchana ninakulilia, usiku nao sikuachi,

sharti yafike kwako malalamiko yangu. Liinamishe sikio lako, nikikupigia kelele!

Kwani roho yangu imeshiba kwa kuona mabaya, uzima wangu umekwisha, kuzimu kumenijia karibu.
5
Ninahesabiwa kuwa mwenzao washukao shimoni, nimegeuka kuwa kama mtu asiye na nguvu hata kidogo.
6
Kilalo changu kiko kwao waliokwisha kufa, ninafanana nao waliouawa vitani walalao makaburini; huwakumbuki tena waliokwisha kutengwa, watoke mkononi mwako.

Umenilaza shimoni ndani ya nchi kwenye giza lililomo humo kuzimuni.
8
Makali yako yamenilemea, mawimbi yako yote yamenikwelea.
9
Wenyeji wangu umewahamisha, nisiwaone, ukaniweka kuwa tapisho kwao hao; hivyo, nilivyofungwa, sitaweza kutoka.
10
Macho yangu yamefifizwa kwa kuumia, ninakulilia, Bwana, mchana kutwa na kukunyoshea wewe mikono yangu.

Je? Utafanya kioja kwenye wafu? Au vivuli vitainuka, vikushukuru?

Je? Mambo ya upole wako yanasimuliwa makaburini? Au mambo ya welekevu wako yanasimuliwa kuzimuni?

Je? Vioja vyako vinatambulikana kwenye giza? Au wongofu wako katika nchi ikaayo walioyasahau yote?

Lakini mimi ninakupigia kelele wewe, Bwana, malalamiko yangu hufika kwako asubuhi na mapema.

Mbona unaitupa roho yangu, wewe Bwana? Mbona unauficha uso wako, nisiuone?

Mimi ni mnyonge na mwele toka utoto wangu, nikayavumilia mastuko yako, kisha nikazimia.

Makali yako yenye moto yamenikwelea, matetemeko yako yakanizimisha roho.
18
Yalinizunguka siku zote kama maji, yakanizinga na kunisonga pawapo pote.
19
Wenzangu wapendwa umewahamisha, nisiwaone tena; wenyeji wangu waliosalia ni giza tupu.
