Bwana, kwenye watu wabaya niopoe!

nilinde, watu wenye makorofi wasinijie!

Ndio wanaowaza mabaya mioyoni mwao, nao hufanya magomvi kila siku.

Wamezinoa ndimi zao, ziwe kama za nyoka, sumu ya pili imo midomoni mwao.

Niangalie, Bwana, mikono yao wasiokucha isinikamate! Nilinde, watu wenye makorofi wasinijie! Ndio wawazao, jinsi watakavyonikumba, nije kujikwaa

Wenye majivuno wamenitegea matanzi na nyugwe, wakanitandikia nyavu kandokando ya njia, wakaiweka nayo mitego yao, waninase.

Nikamwambia Bwana: Wewe ndiwe Mungu wangu! Bwana, zisikilize sauti za malalamiko yangu!
8
Bwana uliye Bwana wangu mwenye nguvu, u wokovu wangu, unakikingia kichwa changu siku za mapigano.
9
Bwana, wasiokucha usiwape wanayoyatamani! Wala usiwamalizie mashauri yao mabaya, wasijivune!
10
Sumu zao wanizungukao nazo njama zao, walizozisema za kupotoa, na ziwarudie wenyewe na kuwafunika!
11
Na awanyeshee mvua ya makaa ya moto! Na awakumbe, waanguke, motoni namo mashimoni, wasiweze kabisa kuinuka tena!
12
Mtu mwenye masingizio hatashikizwa katika nchi, mtu mwenye makorofi mabaya na yamkimbize, mpaka aangamie!
13
Ninajua, ya kuwa Bwana atamwamulia aliye mnyonge, nayo mashauri ya wakiwa atayanyosha.
14
Watakaolishukuru Jina lako kweli ndio waongofu, nao wanyokao mioyo watakaa usoni pako.
