Baich Damascus. Wele Damascus wedi ei symud o fod yn ddinas, a charnedd wedi syrthio a fydd hi.

Gwrthodwyd dinasoedd Aroer: i ddiadellau y byddant, y rhai a orweddant, ac ni bydd a'u dychryno.

A derfydd amddiffynfa o Effraim, a brenhiniaeth o Damascus, a gweddill Syria: fel gogoniant meibion Israel y byddant, medd ARGLWYDD y lluoedd.

Ac ar y dydd hwnnw y bydd i ogoniant Jacob feinhau, a braster ei gig ef a gulha.
5
Ac efe a fydd fel pan gasglo y cynaeafwr ŷd, a medi â'i fraich y tywysennau: a bydd fel casglydd tywysennau yng nglyn Reffaim.

Eto ynddo y gadewir lloffion grawnwin, fel ysgydwad olewydden, sef dau neu dri o rawn ym mlaen y brig, a phedwar neu bump yn ei changhennau ffrwythlon eithaf, medd ARGLWYDD DDUW Israel.

Yn y dydd hwnnw yr edrych dyn at ei Wneuthurwr, a'i lygaid a edrychant ar Sanct Israel:

Ac nid edrych am yr allorau, y rhai ydynt waith ei ddwylo; ie, nid edrych am yr hyn a wnaeth ei fysedd, na'r llwyni, na'r delwau.
9
Yn y dydd hwnnw y bydd eu dinasoedd cedyrn fel cangen wrthodedig, a'r brig, y rhai a adawsant oherwydd meibion Israel: felly y bydd anghyfanhedd‐dra.
10
Oherwydd anghofio ohonot DDUW dy iachawdwriaeth, ac na chofiaist graig dy gadernid: am hynny y plenni blanhigion hyfryd, ac yr impi hwynt â changhennau dieithr.
11
Y dydd y gwnei i'th blanhigyn dyfu, a'r bore y gwnei i'th had flodeuo: ond bydd y cynhaeaf yn bentwr ar ddydd llesgedd a dolur gofidus.
12
Gwae dyrfa pobloedd lawer, fel twrf y môr y trystiant; ac i dwrf y bobloedd a drystiant fel sŵn dyfroedd lawer.
13
Fel sŵn dyfroedd lawer y trystia y bobl; a DUW a'u cerydda hwynt, a hwy a ffoant ymhell, ac a erlidir fel peiswyn mynydd o flaen y gwynt, ac fel peth yn treiglo ym mlaen corwynt.
14
Ac wele drallod ar brynhawn, a chyn y bore ni bydd. Dyma ran y rhai a'n hanrheithiant ni, a choelbren y rhai a'n hysbeiliant ni.
