Mon Dieu, me voilà rassuré, vraiment rassuré: je veux chanter et te célébrer de tout mon cœur.

Éveillez-vous, ma harpe et ma lyre: il faut que je réveille l'aurore.

Seigneur, je veux te louer parmi les peuples, te célébrer par mes chants dans tous les pays,
5
car ta grande bonté monte plus haut que les cieux, ta vérité va plus haut que les nuages.
6
Mon Dieu, montre ta grandeur qui dépasse les cieux, que ta présence glorieuse brille sur la terre entière!
7
Viens à notre secours et réponds-nous, pour que ceux que tu aimes soient sauvés.

Dans son lieu saint, Dieu a parlé: « À moi la victoire! Je partagerai la ville de Sichem, je répartirai en lots la vallée de Soukoth.

Galaad est à moi, à moi aussi Manassé. Mon casque, c'est Éfraïm, et mon sceptre, c'est Juda.

Moab n'est que la cuvette où je me lave. J'ai des droits sur Édom, je jette ma sandale sur lui. Contre la Philistie je pousse un cri de guerre! »

Qui me mènera jusqu'en Édom? Qui me livrera sa ville fortifiée,
12
si ce n'est toi, Dieu? Or tu nous as rejetés, tu n'accompagnes plus nos armées.
13
Viens à notre aide contre l'adversaire, car les êtres humains n'offrent qu'un secours dérisoire.
14
Avec Dieu nous serons victorieux, car lui, il terrasse nos adversaires.
