De David. Je me tourne vers toi, Seigneur;

mon Dieu, je mets en toi ma confiance, ne me laisse pas déçu. Ne laisse pas mes ennemis se réjouir à mon sujet.

Aucun de ceux qui comptent sur toi ne sera déçu. Mais ils seront déçus ceux qui te trahissent pour rien!
4
Seigneur, fais-moi connaître le chemin à suivre, enseigne-moi à vivre comme tu le veux.
5
Conduis-moi dans ta vérité et instruis-moi, car c'est toi le Dieu qui me sauve, je compte sur toi tous les jours.

Souviens-toi, Seigneur, que depuis toujours tu es un Dieu de tendresse et de bonté.

Ne pense plus à mes fautes de jeunesse, ne pense plus à mes désobéissances; pense à moi plutôt dans ta générosité, toi qui es si bon, Seigneur!

Le Seigneur est si bon et si juste qu'il montre aux coupables le chemin à suivre.

Il conduit les malheureux vers la justice, il leur enseigne sa volonté.

Chacune des instructions du Seigneur est une marque de sa bonté et de sa vérité pour ceux qui observent son alliance et ses instructions.

Parce que tu es Dieu, Seigneur, tu pardonnes ma faute, car elle est grande!

À celui qui reconnaît l'autorité du Seigneur, il montre la voie qu'il doit choisir.

Il vivra dans le bonheur et ses enfants posséderont le pays.
14
À ceux qui reconnaissent son autorité, le Seigneur confie ses projets il leur fait connaître son alliance.

Mes yeux sont constamment tournés vers le Seigneur, car il me tirera du piège où je suis pris.
16
Tourne-toi vers moi, accorde-moi ta grâce, car je suis seul et malheureux.
17
Soulage mon cœur de ses angoisses, retire-moi de la détresse.
18
Vois mon malheur et ma peine, pardonne toutes mes fautes.
19
Vois combien mes ennemis sont nombreux et quelle violente haine ils me portent.
20
Protège-moi et délivre-moi; en toi j'ai trouvé refuge: que je ne sois pas déçu!

Je compte sur toi, pour me garder dans l'innocence et la droiture.
22
Dieu, délivre Israël de toutes ses détresses!
