Chantez en l'honneur du Seigneur un chant nouveau; gens du monde entier, chantez pour le Seigneur.

Chantez en l'honneur du Seigneur, bénissez son nom! Jour après jour annoncez qu'il est le sauveur.

Parlez de sa gloire à tous les êtres humains, parmi tous les peuples, racontez ses merveilles.

Le Seigneur est grand et mérite qu'on l'acclame. Il est plus redoutable que tous les dieux.
5
Tous les dieux des autres peuples sont des faux dieux, alors que le Seigneur a fait les cieux.

Il rayonne de grandeur et de majesté, son sanctuaire est rempli de puissance et de splendeur.
7
Familles de toute la terre, venez honorer le Seigneur en proclamant sa gloire et sa puissance.

Venez proclamer sa gloire, entrez dans les cours de son temple en apportant vos dons.
9
Courbez-vous jusqu'à terre devant le Seigneur, quand il manifeste qu'il est Dieu, tremblez devant lui, gens du monde entier.

Dites à toute la terre: « Le Seigneur est roi, le monde est donc ferme, il reste inébranlable. Il juge les peuples avec droiture. »

Que les cieux se réjouissent, que la terre crie de joie, que la mer mugisse, et tout ce qu'elle contient!
12
Que la campagne soit en fête, et tout ce qui s'y trouve! Que tous les arbres des forêts poussent des cris de joie
13
devant le Seigneur, car il vient, il vient pour rendre la justice sur la terre. Il jugera le monde avec justice, il sera un arbitre sûr pour les peuples.
