Mais mon peuple n'a pas écouté mon appel, Israël n'a plus voulu de moi.

Alors je les ai laissés à ce qu'ils avaient délibérément choisi. Qu'ils agissent donc à leur guise!

Si mon peuple, si Israël m'écoutait, s'il suivait la voie que je lui trace,

bientôt je ferais plier ses ennemis, je dirigerais mes coups sur ses adversaires!

Alors les ennemis du Seigneur l'imploreraient, et Israël aurait du bon temps pour toujours.

Le Seigneur le nourrirait du meilleur blé, il le rassasierait de miel sauvage.
