Psaume de David. Seigneur, écoute ma prière, sois attentif quand je te supplie. Toi qui es fidèle et juste, réponds-moi!

Je suis ton serviteur, ne me fais pas de procès, car personne n'est reconnu juste devant toi.

J'ai un ennemi qui me persécute; il m'a jeté à terre pour me piétiner, il me fait habiter dans l'obscurité comme ceux qui sont morts depuis longtemps.

La vie m'abandonne, au fond de moi, mon cœur est ravagé.

Je me souviens des jours d'autrefois, je pense à tout ce que tu as fait, je médite ce que tu as réalisé.

En suppliant, je tends les mains vers toi, je me sens devant toi comme une terre assoiffée.

Seigneur, je suis à bout de souffle, réponds-moi sans tarder! Ne te détourne pas de moi, sinon je serai pareil à ceux qui descendent dans la tombe.

Dès le matin, fais-moi entendre ta bonté, car je mets ma confiance en toi; fais-moi connaître le chemin que je dois suivre, car je me tourne vers toi.

Seigneur, délivre-moi de mes ennemis; près de toi je suis à l'abri.

Apprends-moi à faire ta volonté, car tu es mon Dieu. Que ton Esprit me guide avec bienveillance sur un terrain sans obstacle.

Puisque tu es le Seigneur, rends-moi la vie. Au nom de ta justice, tire-moi de la détresse!
12
Au nom de ta bonté, anéantis mes ennemis, détruis tous mes adversaires, car je suis ton serviteur.
