Le Seigneur est roi, que la terre entière crie de joie, que les populations lointaines se réjouissent!

Nuages et brouillard l'environnent. La justice et le droit sont les bases de son règne.

Un feu le précède, qui consume ses ennemis de tous côtés.

Ses éclairs illuminent le monde, la terre les voit et frémit.

Les montagnes fondent comme la cire devant le Seigneur, devant le Seigneur de toute la terre.

Les cieux proclament sa justice et tous les peuples contemplent sa gloire.

Honte à tous les adorateurs d'idoles, à ceux qui sont fiers de ces faux dieux! Que tous les dieux se courbent jusqu'au sol devant le Seigneur!

Sion l'apprend et s'en réjouit; les villes de Juda crient de joie devant les décisions que tu as prises, Seigneur.

Car c'est toi, Seigneur, qui es le Dieu très-haut sur toute la terre, bien au-dessus des dieux.

Détestez le mal, vous qui aimez le Seigneur! Il protège la vie de ceux qui lui sont fidèles, il les délivre des méchants.

Une lumière se lève pour le juste, il y a de la joie pour les personnes qui mènent une vie droite.
12
Vous qui êtes justes, réjouissez-vous à cause du Seigneur, et louez-le en rappelant qu'il est Dieu.
