A gair yr ARGLWYDD a ddaeth ataf, gan ddywedyd,

Ha fab dyn, beth yw coed y winwydden fwy na phob coed arall, neu gainc yr hon sydd ymysg prennau y coed?

A gymerir ohoni goed i wneuthur gwaith? a gymerant ohoni hoel i grogi un offeryn arni?
4
Wele, yn ymborth i'r tân y rhoddir hi; difaodd y tân ei deuben hi, ei chanol a olosgwyd: a wasanaetha hi mewn gwaith?
5
Wele, pan oedd gyfan, nid oedd gymwys i ddim gwaith: pa faint llai, gan ei difa o dân a'i golosgi, y bydd hi eto gymwys i waith?

Am hynny fel hyn y dywed yr Arglwydd DDUW; Megis pren y winwydden ymysg prennau y coed, yr hon a roddais yn ymborth i'r tân, felly y rhoddaf drigolion Jerwsalem.

A gosodaf fy wyneb yn eu herbyn hwynt: o'r naill dân y deuant allan, a thân arall a'u difa hwynt; fel y gwypoch mai myfi yw yr ARGLWYDD, pan osodwyf fy wyneb i'w herbyn hwynt.
8
Gwnaf hefyd y wlad yn anrhaith, am wneuthur ohonynt gamwedd, medd yr ARGLWYDD DDUW.
