(Dawid se lofpsalm.) Ek wil U loof, my God, o koning; en ek sal U Naam loof vir ewig en altyd.

Ek sal jou elke dag seën; en ek sal U Naam loof vir ewig en altyd.

Die HERE is groot en baie lofwaardig; en sy grootheid is ondeurgrondelik.
4
Die een geslag sal U werke aan die ander prys en U magtige dade verkondig.
5
Ek sal spreek van die heerlike eer van U majesteit en van U wonders.
6
En die mense sal praat oor die mag van U verskriklike dade, en ek sal U grootheid verkondig.
7
Hulle sal die gedagtenis van u groot goedheid in menigte verkondig en van U geregtigheid sing.
8
Die HERE is genadig en vol medelye; stadig tot toorn en groot barmhartigheid.
9
Die HERE is goed vir almal, en sy barmhartighede is oor al sy werke.
10
Al u werke sal U loof, o HERE; en U heiliges sal U seën.
11
Hulle sal spreek van die heerlikheid van U koninkryk en spreek van u krag;
12
om aan die mensekinders sy magtige dade bekend te maak en die heerlike majesteit van sy koninkryk.
13
U koninkryk is 'n ewige koninkryk, en u heerskappy duur van geslag tot geslag.
14
Die HERE ondersteun almal wat val, en Hy rig almal op wat neergebuig is.
15
Die oë van almal wag op U; en U het hulle voedsel op die regte tyd gegee.
16
U maak u hand oop en versadig die begeerte van al die lewende wesens.
17
Die HERE is regverdig in al sy weë en heilig in al sy werke.
18
Die HERE is naby almal wat Hom aanroep, almal wat Hom in waarheid aanroep.
19
Hy sal die begeerte vervul van die wat Hom vrees; Hy sal ook hulle hulpgeroep hoor en hulle red.
20
Die HERE bewaar almal wat Hom liefhet, maar al die goddeloses sal Hy vernietig.
21
My mond sal die lof van die HERE verkondig, en laat alle vlees sy heilige Naam loof vir ewig en altyd.
