Sing tot eer van die HERE 'n nuwe lied; sing tot eer van die HERE, o ganse aarde!
2
Sing tot eer van die HERE, loof sy Naam; maak sy verlossing van dag tot dag bekend.
3
Verkondig sy heerlikheid onder die heidene, sy wonders onder al die volke.
4
Want die HERE is groot en baie lofwaardig; Hy is gevrees bo al die gode.
5
Want al die gode van die nasies is afgode, maar die HERE het die hemel gemaak.
6
Eer en majesteit is voor Hom, sterkte en skoonheid is in sy heiligdom.
7
Gee aan die HERE, o geslagte van die volk, gee aan die HERE eer en sterkte.
8
Gee aan die HERE die eer van sy Naam; bring 'n offer en kom in sy voorhowe.
9
Aanbid die HERE in die skoonheid van heiligheid; vrees voor Hom, o ganse aarde.
10
Sê onder die nasies dat die HERE Koning is: ook die wêreld sal vasstaan dat dit nie wankel nie; Hy sal die volke regverdig oordeel.
11
Laat die hemele juig en die aarde juig; laat die see brul en die volheid daarvan.
12
Laat die veld bly wees en alles wat daarin is; dan sal al die bome van die bos juig
13
voor die aangesig van die HERE: want Hy kom, want Hy kom om die aarde te oordeel; Hy sal die wêreld oordeel met geregtigheid en die volke met sy waarheid.
