(Aan die musiekleier, 'n Lied of Psalm.) Maak 'n gejubel tot eer van God, alle lande:

Sing die eer van sy Naam uit, maak sy lof verheerlik.
3
Sê vir God: Hoe verskriklik is U in u werke! deur die grootheid van u krag sal u vyande hulle aan u onderwerp.
4
Die hele aarde sal jou aanbid en vir jou sing; hulle sal tot eer van u Naam sing. Sela.
5
Kom en kyk na die werke van God: verskriklik is Hy in sy dade teenoor die mensekinders.
6
Hy het die see in droë grond verander: hulle het te voet deur die vloed gegaan; daar was ons in Hom bly.
7
Hy heers deur sy mag vir ewig; sy oë aanskou die nasies; laat die wederstrewiges hulle nie verhef nie. Sela.
8
Loof onse God, o volke, en laat die stem van sy lof gehoor word!
9
wat ons siel in die lewe hou en nie toelaat dat ons voete wankel nie.
10
Want U, o God, het ons beproef; U het ons beproef soos silwer beproef word.
11
U het ons in die net gebring; U het ellende op ons lendene gelê.
12
U het mense oor ons hoofde laat ry; ons het deur vuur en deur water gegaan, maar U het ons uitgelei in 'n ryk plek.
13
Ek sal in jou huis ingaan met brandoffers; ek sal jou my geloftes betaal,
14
wat my lippe uitgespreek en my mond gespreek het toe ek in benoudheid was.
15
Ek sal vir jou brandoffers van vetgemaakte diere bring, saam met die reukwerk van ramme; Ek sal bulle met bokke aanbied. Sela.
16
Kom luister, almal wat God vrees, en ek sal vertel wat Hy vir my siel gedoen het.
17
Ek het na hom geroep met my mond, en hy is met my tong verheerlik.
18
As ek ongeregtigheid in my hart ag, sal die HERE my nie verhoor nie;
19
Maar waarlik, God het my verhoor; hy het gehoor gegee aan die stem van my gebed.
20
Geseënd van God wat my gebed en sy goedertierenheid nie van my afgewend het nie.
