Om U goedertierenheid in die môre te openbaar en U getrouheid elke nag,

Op 'n instrument van tien snare en op 'n psalter; op die harp met 'n plegtige klank.
4
Want U, HERE, het my bly gemaak deur u werk; ek sal triomfeer in die werke van u hande.
5
O HERE, hoe groot is u werke! en jou gedagtes is baie diep.
6
'n Bruis man weet nie; en 'n dwaas verstaan dit nie.
7
Wanneer die goddelose spring soos die gras, en as al die werkers van ongeregtigheid floreer; dit is dat hulle vir ewig vernietig sal word.
8
Maar U, HERE, is die Allerhoogste tot in ewigheid.
9
Want kyk, U vyande, HERE, want kyk, U vyande sal omkom; al die werkers van ongeregtigheid sal verstrooi word.
10
Maar my horing sal jy verhef soos die horing van 'n eenhoring: ek sal met vars olie gesalf word.
11
En my oog sal my begeerte na my vyande sien, en my ore sal my begeerte hoor van die goddelose wat teen my opstaan.
12
Die regverdige sal floreer soos 'n palmboom, soos 'n seder op die Líbanon groei hy.
13
Die wat in die huis van die HERE geplant is, sal floreer in die voorhowe van onse God.
14
Hulle sal nog vrugte dra in die ouderdom; hulle sal vet en bloeiend wees;
15
Om te wys dat die HERE opreg is: Hy is my rots, en daar is geen ongeregtigheid in Hom nie.
