Así o rei de Asiria levará os prisioneiros de Exipto e os deportados de Cux, rapaces e vellos, espidos e descalzos, e coas nádegas en coiro: a vergonza dos exipcios.

Estarán confundidos e avergonzados por causa de Cux, a súa esperanza, e por causa de Exipto, a súa gloria.

E dirán os habitantes daquela costa no día aquel: Vede como quedou a nosa esperanza, a onde corriamos por axuda para nos librarmos da presenza do rei de Asiria, e como escaparemos nós?".
